Our Story

Since 1996, Good Shepherd Homes has provided secure and safe home environments, quality education and career opportunities for street children. GSH not only takes children off the street, but the charity helps children to start working towards their own future.

Today, the GSH operation is expanding into neighbouring areas with bases in 3 locations, including a transit home, a school and a large scale children’s village.

Sushama is another veteran in the family; she has worked with GSH for the past 15 years. She is house parent to a group of girls on the GSH campus. She loves working with kids, and seeing them equipped for life, both on a personal and academic level. She says: One of the main challenges I still face is explaining things in a way that every child understands.
